Uslovi za predaju priloga

Kao deo postupka prijave priloga, autori su dužni potvrditi skladnost priloga koji prijavljuju sa svim sledećim stavkama. Autorima koji se ne pridržavaju ovih smernica prijave mogu biti vraćene.
  • Rad koji prilažem nije ranije objavljivan, niti se nalazi u procesu razmatranja u drugom časopisu (ili je objašnjenje obezbeđeno u komentarima uredniku).
  • Fajl koji prilažem je u formatu OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, ili WordPerfect.
  • Gde je moguće URL-ovi referenci su priloženi.
  • Tekst ima prored 1,5, koristi font Times New Roman veličine 12, koristi kurziv umesto podvlačenja (izuzev URL adresa) i ilustracije, tabele i prilozi su smešteni unutar teksta na odgovarajućim mestima ili na kraju.
  • Tekst sa uputstvima vezanim za stil i bibliografske zahtevime je u Упутства за ауторе, koja se nalaze u sekciji "O časopisu".

Smernice za autore

SUBMISSION SCOPE AND TYPE

Journal of Engineering & Management publishes research and expert papers focusing on the following fields:

  • industrial engineering,
  • power-energy engineering,
  • industrial management,

as well as the papers covering related fields of interdisciplinary character.

The complete, reliable, and latest scientific, research and experiment-based results are published in Journal of Engineering & Management as Original Research Papers, Review Papers, Case Studies, and Short Reports.

Original Research Paper represents author’s original contribution in some of the fields in industrial engineering, management, and power-energy engineering; Review Paper provides a critical account of a specific field-related monograph or article: Case Study covers specific field topic aimed at further clarification of the details of practical and scientific interest; experiment-based results are published in the form of Short Reports.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

This section contains information and instructions for preparing the manuscript for publication in the journal “Journal of Industrial Engineering and Management”. Manuscripts are published in English or Serbian language. Papers that have been published elsewhere, will not be accepted. The submitted manuscript should not exceed 5 pages.

Papers submitted for potential publication in the Journal of Engineering & Management must be prepared using  Journal of Engineering & Management Template file. This template provides authors with most of the formatting specifications needed for preparing electronic versions of their papers. All figures, images, tables, etc., should be embedded into the original file.

To submit a paper, authors should first register via Open Journal Systems. They can register following the link. Following the registration and submission, authors can log in Open Journal Systems  with username and password (login) to check on the progress of their paper.

Basic Formatting Guide

Please, follow the rules below so as to ensure your paper adheres to them before submission. 

  • Papers can be in English or Serbian.
  • Title, summary and key words should be written in both Serbian and English.
  • The submitted article along with all parts of paper must be written in a formal clear structure and objective manner.
  • The submitted paper must be prepared in Microsoft Word according to journal instructions, which can be found here (for papers written in English) or here (for papers in Serbian). This instructions file can be used as a template for formatting article text: insert the text of the article in this file, fill in the required fields and footers. The organizers do not undertake the obligation to include in the articles that are not designed according to the rules.
  • The text of submitted manuscripts should be formatted in two columns.
  • On the first page please include the title of the paper in both Serbian and English, as well as, author names and the address for authors, including email of the corresponding author.
  • Length of summary should not be greater than 300 words.
  • No quotations, formulas and equations are allowed in the Summaries.
  • Please include 5 key words maximum.
  • Use a common image format for figures (e.g. pdf, eps, gif, tiff, jpg).
  • The submission must have figures and text in one file, rather than separate files.
  • Tables and figures can stand in one or both columns, if necessary.
  • Acknowledgments and details of funding sources should be included at the end of the text. 
  • Please list all author contributions upon submission of the manuscript.
  • Please define non-standard abbreviations at the first occurrence and number figures and tables consecutively.
  • It is recommended that authors spell-check all files before submission. Please use short, simple filenames when saving all your documents, and avoid special characters.

PAPER REVIEW PROCESS

In order to maintain quality standard, all papers undergo peer-review. The papers submitted in line with the Journal of Engineering & Management standards and which correspond to the topics covered by the Journal undergo peer-review process. At least two peer-reviewers will review each paper and their decisions/opinions will be decisive in the approval for publishing a paper. Also, the peer-reviewers have a say in the extent to which a paper is to be corrected before publishing.

ORIGINALITY AND PLAGIARISM

The authors should ensure that they have written entirely works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others, that this has been appropriately cited or quoted.

Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behaviour and is unacceptable.

Authors submitting to Journal of Engineering & Management accept the common terms of publication ethics and confirm that the paper is original research contribution with the references properly cited in the manuscript.

JEM publishes the papers under a Creative Commons attribution-noncommercial license CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. Users of the author's published article are free to use, distribute, reproduce, and create adapted works using the published paper, but only where the use is for non-commercial purposes and IJEEC and the author are properly attributed. Authors are required to sign an Authors Statement and Copyright Transfer Agreement.
