Assembly Process Improvment by Using Lean Tools

Abstract

Product assembly as the final production process is one of the most important parts, its quality has a great influence on the quality of the product. The goal of using Lean tools is to increase effectiveness, functionality, general improvement of the organization at the level of the entire company, as well as the elimination of unnecessary activities, i.e. losses in the production process. A well-organized and clean assembly process line will be obtained by using Lean tools, which contributes to the improvement of all the previously listed qualities, and therefore the production process. The application of Lean tools in the assembly process allows improvement in the assembly quality, an increase in efficiency and a reduction in the costs of the production process.
